Mixing, overdubs:
Of course we can subsequentially mix and master your live tracks. Should the recordings demand corrections or additional overdubs, you can do this in an overdub session. You can also add some more warmth to the tracks by transferring them to analogue tape. Here at the UFO SOUND STUDIOS we offer you all the advantages of a professional recording studio.
Surround recording:
Our long, extended studies with discrete surrond-microphone recordings have provided us with grounded experience in this vastly unexplored area. Some think of our commitment as being a little exaggerated ;-) Due to our own fascination for this technology, we can offer you a variety of interesting recording modes to give you a new listening experience.
Advices:
The application of recording equipment on stage can be executed faster, cheaper, more secure and more simple under certain circumstances. That is why it is recommendable to assure the following:

A mic splitter on stage with a vacant split point for the recording. (in case we don’t do additional miking)
A multicore output exclusively for recording
Separated power supply for audio and lights
A separate listening booth if possible
Additional outputs at the mixing desk for the inputs of a multitrack recorder, Samplers, Synths, DAT, digital mixers etc. The split points for these should be near the microphone split points
A technical rider, channel-list, setlist and a hall plan
A place in the audience for a (surround) microphone for atmo-recordings
Space for microphones on stage for additional recording microphones
Precise arrangements in advance
